[News] Big Bang to hold Big Show Tour and expand into South America?
YG Entertainment (YG) has plans to hold a concert in South America. A representative of YG stated, "Big Bang, who is releasing a new album in March of next year, has plans to launch a Big Show Tour," adding, "Details about what countries and cities have not been decided, but we are currently pushing to increase the number of performances and expand into South America."
YG's CEO, producer Yang Hyun Suk explained, "Central and South America is a region that is second to the US in its growing considerable influence." It can be argued that the US is a market that is capable of transforming the geography of K-Pop's audience.

[News] Winners from ’2011 Bugs Music Awards’
Bugs, one of the most popular music sites in Korea, has just released their results for the ’2011 Bugs Music Awards’.
Fans were able to start voting on December 8th and had up til December 22nd to submit their votes. Bugs calculated the votes into the overall scoring system (downloads + streaming) to determine the winners for this year, and has just revealed the results!

After a two-year period of pursuing solo projects, ending with GD&TOP and Seungri’s VVIP album debut, Big Bang came back together for hugely successful “Tonight” and “Love Song” promotions. They then jetted off to Japan for their Love & Hope tour in May, but the short vacation period following the tour soon turned into a longer hiatus after Daesung’s involvement in a fatal car accident.
