YG Entertainment has released their very first smartphone app!

Home to artists like Big Bang and 2NE1, YG Entertainment has delivered an app that promises to be different from apps released by other entertainment agencies. Instead of creating multiple apps for each individual artist, YG has decided to compile all their artists’ info into one program.


As such, fans will have an easier time keeping up with their favorite YG artists’ TV appearances, as well as find their profile info and photos. Of course, the app will also include access to YG’s latest hits and MVs.

YG Entertainment will also release special content through the app, such as behind-the-scenes footage from their ‘15th Anniversary YG Family Concert‘. Reportedly, the app was created to celebrate the label’s 15th anniversary, allowing fans and stars to feel closer to one another with just one sweep.


The application ‘YG Family‘ will be available for free download on the Android Market and at the App Store in both English and Korean.
