It’s G-Dragon’s 23rd birthday today and his fans contributed about $15,000 to the children’s hospital of the University of Seoul for his birthday. For the birthday of G-Dragon (Kwon Jiyong), the leader of Big Bang and also a solo singer, one of his fandoms (G-Dragon Supporters) made some meaningful contribution.
Last year they gave about $8,500 to a Catholic hospital for the children suffering from hematologic malignancy.
Today, on G-Dragon’s 23rd birthday, they gave about $15,000 to the children’s hospital of the University of Seoul to help a teenage girl who’s suffering from lupus and a teenage boy who’s suffering from osteo psathyrosis.
Also they are contributing regularly about $850 a month for a year, for a total about $11,000, to a child who’s suffering from a rare-disease, starting from last year on August. They contributed about total $15,000 and many are saying these kind of meaningful birthday presents represent the bright side of fan activities. However, G-Dragon seemed to be working very hard on his music for the late comeback of Big Bang.
