[NEWS] Daesung talks about Ok Bang on KBS Ent Weekly

Here, Daesung was asked by an interviewer if he has ever heard of the band Ok-Bang. To which 

Daesung replied, “Oh, yes I’ve heard of them before.”
When they asked him what he thought of them, Daesung replied, “Since they followed us so closely we were really happy. Since it’s somewhat difficult to discover who we are and find our music, we were excited.”

If some of you haven’t heard of Ok-Bang, they’re a group from China whose style and music are so much like Big Bang that they’ve been unanimously voted and dubbed as the copycat Big Bang. 

Perhaps it’s too harsh of a nickname to be given? Personally, I think the line between being inspired by an artist and simply cutting chunks of their music into yours is fairly obvious.

Daesung was definitely being diplomatic and tactful in the interview. It’s one of the best ways to go about it anyway, seeing there’s really no point in blowing it up again.
