Block B Interview excerpt: Just as they seem, they’re a group with great personality. They’re guys with a fierce appearance and a contradictory cheerfullness. Even during their free time during shootings there’s always someone rapping and creating music. Should we merely refer to them as idols?
The one who established popular music in Korea, Seo Taiji; as well as G-Dragon, who lead the hip-hop movement and made it more familiar, have a sense that can now be felt through Block B’s key-man and leader, Zico.
ZICO: We’re idols. I originally wanted to work as a producer or a rapper. But, at my current age, I thought that there was nothing else I could do except being an idol. By gaining experience as an idol, I think it can be useful for becoming a producer later on. My goal is to be like Seo Taiji senior and G-Dragon senior.
