[NEWS] YG fans in Malaysia shows off their dance moves for YG Entertainment!


Over 400 fans of artists from YG Entertainment gathered together at the outdoor foyer of One Utama to celebrate Halo! YG Day, a collaboration between Halo Music Malaysia and YG Entertainment, and presented by DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd. It was held on June 25, Saturday. This event was held to show to YG Entertainment artists that they are loved here and there is a big demand for YG artists here in Malaysia,

Halo! YG Day, was a fun filled day for fans as they saw the top 10 dance crews and solo acts perform to their favourite YG Family stars’ music in a dance competition. Fans also got a chance to take part in various pop quizzes and won vouchers from Daorae Korean Restaurant plus personalized greeting cards from SE7EN, 2NE1 and BIGBANG members.

The best dance crew as voted by high-calibre judges Lucy Leong, operations director of Red.fm; SuAnne Chong, official k-pop dance instructor for KTO and backup dancer to K-pop stars; and Nikki Cheang, veteran dance judge; were the dance crew Ruffneckz. The crew pulled out all the stops and even gave the audience some guitar-smashing action as part of their routine. Runner ups were crowd favourite, Chrome L and twin duo cUrFs.

Sponsored by both DiGi and Halo Music, the Grand Prize was 2 tickets worth SGD318 each to watch BIGBANG and 2NE1 perform live in Singapore Korean Music Wave 2011 on July 15, RM2000 in cash, a Halo Music hamper full of YG merchandise and Daorae vouchers.
